How the form is handled

The form is processed by this WordPress website and sent to contact@vagcodingcotswolds.com using the hosting provider’s mail server. No external form API is used. Email is handled by the sender’s, website host’s and recipient’s chosen email services. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and is subject to its own privacy terms.

Sharing and retention

Information is used only for the purpose for which it was supplied and is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to manage enquiries, quotes, appointments, payments, support and applicable record-keeping obligations. Referral accounts

If you join the referral programme, the website stores your name, email address, phone number, encrypted WordPress password, unique referral code, referral activity, reward amounts and payout-request history. Passwords are handled by WordPress and cannot be viewed by the business. Bank details are not stored on this website.

Referred customer information

A member may submit a customer’s name, contact details, vehicle details, postcode and requested work only after that customer has agreed to the sharing and contact. The same information can be linked automatically when a customer uses a member’s referral link and submits the website quote form. Referred customers are given this privacy information when contacted, and may ask for their information to be corrected or deleted.

Referral cookie

A referral link stores a necessary first-party cookie containing the member’s referral code for up to 30 days. It is used only to attribute a genuine website enquiry to the correct member and is not used for advertising profiling.
