FAQs & pricing
Clear answers before work begins.
No confusing price lists or assumptions. The vehicle and job are reviewed, then a clear quote is confirmed.
Quotes, not guesswork
Why pricing varies.
Parts, software, vehicle configuration, travel and investigation time can change the scope of a job. The email quote form collects the details needed to confirm the price before anything starts.
01How do I get a quote?+
Complete the email quote form with your name, vehicle make, model, year, registration, postcode and the work required. You can attach useful photos before sending. Alternatively, message me on WhatsApp.
02Do you publish fixed prices?+
Every vehicle and job can differ, particularly when parts, travel or diagnostic time are involved. A clear quote is confirmed before work begins.
03Where are you based?+
The mobile service is primarily based around Broadway and Brize Norton, covering Worcestershire and Oxfordshire. Longer-distance work can be considered depending on the job.
04What vehicles do you work on?+
VCDS coding is for supported Volkswagen Group vehicles. Mechanical work, servicing, diagnostics, remapping and installations are available for a much wider range of cars and commercial vehicles.
05Is coding the same as remapping?+
No. VCDS coding changes supported vehicle settings and module functions. Remapping changes ECU calibration to alter engine behaviour or performance.
06Can coding changes be reversed?+
Yes, coding changes can normally be returned to their previous settings. Compatibility still depends on the vehicle hardware and software.
07Do you supply parts?+
Yes. Suitable parts can be supplied, fitted and coded where required. A deposit is normally needed before parts are ordered.
08How quickly will you reply?+
Email and WhatsApp enquiries are normally answered within 30 minutes during working hours. Working hours are 8am–8pm, Monday to Sunday.
09How can I pay?+
Payment is accepted by cash or bank transfer.
10Is the work guaranteed?+
Yes. If you have a concern after the job, get in touch so it can be reviewed and supported.
